Foundations 1
A beginner level class, using Level 1 exercises and teaching the foundations of Pilates.
For people who are completely new to Pilates and exercise, or those who are recently post-surgery (4-6 weeks).
If you are new to Pilates or exercise, or just feeling a little vulnerable post-surgery, this is the class for you. Ideally you should be 4 weeks post-surgery to join this class, although sometimes people can join sooner if ready. Please drop me a message.

Foundations 2
This is a progressive beginner level class, developing and progressing some of the exercises and movements you learned in the Foundations 1 classes. You can start to challenge yourself and incorporate some ‘next level’ exercises, improving core strength and control. Classes are a mix of standing, kneeling and floor/mat work.

Intermediate
This is a progressive class developing and progressing some of the exercises and movements you learned in the Foundations 1 and 2 classes. You can start to challenge yourself and incorporate some ‘advanced’ exercises, improving core strength and control. Classes are a mix of standing, kneeling and floor/mat work.

Advanced
High level advanced class aimed at those who have progressed through the full range of classes and are generally more athletic and able to work at a high level. These classes include high load exercises and movements and can be challenging. Classes are a mix of standing, kneeling and floor/mat work.

Develop advanced abdominal strength and endurance

Advanced hip and glute exercises

High level balance and co-ordination in standing

Foam rolling and other Pilates equipment

Sport specific exercises for runners, swimming and cyclists

You can do the classes without any equipment at all, but do make sure you have a carpet or non-slip rug to exercise on. A Pilates or yoga mat is probably the most essential item.
There’s no need to purchase everything. Each class has a list of what you’ll need so check there first.
