The EUSR stands for Energy and Utilities Skills Register an independent organisation set up to address the skills need in the Energy and Utilities industry as they felt that the issue of CSCS were under served and not relevant to the sector so EUSR was commissioned to address the issues.

The Energy and Utility skills register cards are more specific to the utilities industry where it covers each specific industry and is endorsed and affiliated by CSCS each sector is covered as follows:

  • Power

  • Gas

  • Water

  • Telecommunications

  • Waste

The EUSR keeps it curriculum up to date by working and liaising with industry sectors and professionals and it regularly updates the course ware, all instructors have the relevant industry experience and because it is endorsed and affiliated with CSCS it allows individuals on construction sites.

Depending on which scheme the training is done face to face and has core modules then industry specific modules all instructor led with a multiple-choice question paper at present this is not done online like a standard CSCS or ECS card.
