I am an experienced leadership and performance coach and founder of Helm Partnering, my coaching and consulting practice, as well as co-founder of the private professional coaching forum, The Henley Collective. I am a trained and certified Executive Coach and Team Coach, providing these services to individuals, Boards and HR functions, focused on specific business and personal goals that create high performing individuals and teams. My coaching style has been described as relaxed, supportive, focused and challenging, and that I bring a feeling of renewed energy, enabling clients to explore solutions to personal development in a safe and reflective space. I have 40 years’ experience as a business leader, including CEO, various Board positions and a multitude of leadership roles. I combine this experience and my professional coaching practice to deliver not only the coaching services, but consulting and mentoring services. I help leadership teams in scale-up strategies, pragmatic plans to overcome barriers to sustainable growth, and in building high performing sales functions. Most of my consulting projects tend to leverage my background running successful businesses, from start-ups, scale-ups, to medium and large enterprises in the consulting and technology industry. Here, my primary skills were in leading businesses through periods of transformational growth and in business development and sales. I have been fortunate to hold leadership roles in the successful sale of four businesses. As a business leader, I thrived on getting the best out of people, creating an environment where they had the freedom to make an impact and deliver their potential. In 2012 I was proud to lead a business to receive an award as a Great Place to Work®. This passion has continued over the past decade through my work as an Advisor and Executive Coach. In my personal time, I am found either on the River Thames rowing or coaching – I’m a British Rowing Certified Coach – or up a mountain, preferably in the Alps, Scotland or The Lake District.
