 MEET YOUR GARDNERS

We are career gardeners with years of experience in Boulder County. We pursue continuing education courses at CSU in Fort Collins, honing our skills and staying on the leading edge of environmental practices. We treat your garden like our own, and we’re proud to work with clients year after year, watching their yards, gardens, and families grow.

We'd love to meet your garden.

(And you.)

KATIE KILBURY
RANDA LIEBE
AMANDA DOWNES

Name:

Katie Kilbury

Gardening experience & education:

I’ve been gardening most of my life. I’ve worked as assistant manager to a Master

Gardener running a cut flower business, and I’ve been a professional landscaper in

Colorado for over 3 years. In 2019, I took a course in irrigation and shrub pruning at

CSU in Fort Collins. The 2020 season is my second season with GROW.

Favorite plant (and why):

Morning glories—they’re beautiful and tenacious. They’re self-seeders with hearty,

spreading vines, and they greet the morning with a fresh face every day.

Favorite thing about this job:

It’s a tie between the amazing people I work with and the chance to spend every day

outside, working with plants and immersing myself in the natural world.

Gardening experience & education:

I worked on a flower farm while I was in college, and we sold beautiful bouquets at the

Boulder Farmers Market. That’s when I learned how much I dislike weeding and how

much I appreciate professional gardeners!

I’ve worked on the administrative side of things for 16 years now, and my passion and

expertise is people. I have high standards for client service and I love working with

people who feel the same way.

Favorite plant (and why):

Ferns—they remind me of the lush Oregon forests where I was born and raised.

Favorite thing about this job:

GROW is everything I could ask for in an employer. I wake up every day and look

forward to working with some of my favorite humans at a company whose business

ethics completely align with my personal philosophy.
